Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss and her mother is English. She was born in an estate in south London community estate, and when she was 14, attended The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. While attending the school, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film came from that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. She was Bambi on The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also starred as the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was then removed from the air. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. In May 2013 that she was set to leave the series after making a guest episode in the first episode of season three. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg is also a part of the cast on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her parents were Roy and Patty and four older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks because the four brothers who were athletic were hockey players, baseball players, and both in the summer and winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she would dance. In the age of two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley performed in competitive tap, jazz and ballet in the high divisions. She was the top soloist in big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
