Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the teenager age. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ and wrestling and boxing before her amateur debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd was able to build on her victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of each fight. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd returned from her defeat through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her professional d but. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her for a 1st-round TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability was able to take down McGill as she was able finish her opponent in the 3rd round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She took on Hoy using an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to make an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to the point that she ended her fight with a TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina using ground and pound to prevail by TKO in the second-round. Her dominance continued and she scored an impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and got a Performance of The Night bonus. Her debut fight was during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd took victory by a unanimous vote. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds ending her win streak. After a break of a few seconds after which she returned to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
